OTD AS ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with OTD TechDays 2026 and the offshoredays.com website. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and your rights under the Norwegian Personal Data Act (personopplysningsloven) and the GDPR.
What data we collect
When you register as a visitor: name, email, company, country, and any optional fields you complete.
When you submit a booking or contact enquiry: name, email, phone, company, enquiry details.
When you subscribe to our newsletter: email address.
When you use this website: standard analytics data (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location from IP). No personal identification unless you log in.
Why we collect it
- To process your registration, booking, or enquiry (legal basis: contract / legitimate interest).
- To send event updates and the newsletter, if you've opted in (legal basis: consent).
- To improve the website and understand what's working (legal basis: legitimate interest).
Who we share data with
We share data only with the processors we rely on to run the event — our CRM (HubSpot), email provider, analytics provider, and registration system. All processors are bound by data processing agreements. We do not sell or rent your data.
How long we keep it
Registration and booking data: retained for up to 3 years after the event, unless you request deletion earlier.
Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (where not required for legal compliance)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority)
